The Underwater Technology (UT) symposium, one of the IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society’s premier events, has been at the forefront of technological advancements in the underwater field for the past 27 years. It was first held in 1998 in Tokyo and has since been a platform for scholars, students, and experts to share their research and insights. The IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (IEEE OES) is pleased to invite authors and delegates to the UT 2025 in Taipei. The UT 2025 consists of technical presentations, keynote speeches, student posters, exhibitions, and a first-day technical tour. The conference will also entertain the delegates with various social functions, including a reception, a banquet, and a last-day culture tour. Be sure to be in Taipei in March 2025. Use the opportunity to present your work and experiences through technical discussions in an informal atmosphere with people you already know and the new you will meet. The organizers are soliciting abstracts and exhibitions from both industry and academia that focus on near-term development and applications in the underwater environment. Core topics include but are not limited to the following suggested headings: Acoustics and Communications Acoustic Tomography Autonomous Ocean Sensing Systems Environmental Monitoring Fishery Engineering Human-autonomy Interaction Marine Construction Marine Mineral Resources Marine Robotics Marine Sensors Mobile Sensor and Actuator Networks Observatory and Disaster Mitigation Renewable Energy Underwater Archaeology Underwater Bio-related Technology Underwater Soundscape Others
