Call For Papers

ITST 2017 (International Conference on ITS Telecommunications) is an academic conference held in Warsaw, Poland on 2017-05-29. The paper submission deadline is 2017-01-14 (extended). Acceptance notifications are sent on 2017-03-01.

The aim of ITST 2017 is to provide a forum for presentations and discussions for researchers from both academia and industry of original, previously unpublished research results, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing important research and development issues in the area of ITS telecommunications particularly related to the theory or practice of intelligent transport systems (ITS) for different types of transport, including: automobile, railways, maritime, aeronautics and space. The topics cover, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Analytical and simulation modeling, Cooperative Systems applications, Design of transport systems and development of urban infrastructures, Electric vehicle to Grid communication, Electromagnetic compatibility, Green cities, Green ITS technology (cooperative technology, agent communication technology, green ICT technology on ITS), Highly automated and autonomous driving, Human-machine interfaces, Intra-vehicle communications, ITS applications/services (road, maritime, fluvial, railway, public transport, air), ITS communication architectures, Management of the transport systems, infrastructures and urban structures, Mobile IP and Network Mobility in IPv6, Mobility models and vehicular traffic models, Multimedia broadcasting technologies, Naming/addressing (IPv6 addressing scheme and mobility), Policy, social and institutional ITS issues, Protocol conformance testing, interoperability testing and quality assessment, Protocol security in ITS communications, Risk management for safety services (system dependability, reliability, security), Smart cities, Smart planet, Sustainable urban environment and mobility, Testing, verification and diagnosis of ITS components and systems, Transport and urban development, Vehicular ad-hoc networks - VANETs The authors are encouraged to submit via EDAS papers describing original, previously unpublished research results, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the area of ITS telecommunications. All submitted papers will be reviewed. The total length of a paper should not exceed 7 pages formatted according to the IEEE two-column conference template. Accepted and presented papers are planned to be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. A best paper award will be given.
