CAL is a forum for fast publication of new, high-quality ideas in the form of short, critically refereed, technical papers. Submissions are accepted on a continuing basis and letters will be published shortly following acceptance in IEEE Xplore and in the Computer Society Digital Library.
Submissions are welcomed on any topic in computer architecture, especially but not limited to: processor, memory, and storage systems architecture; parallelism: instruction, thread, data, multiprocessor; in-/near-memory or in-/near-storage processing; prediction and speculation; cloud and data centers; IoT, mobile, edge, and embedded architecture; interconnection networks, routers, and network interface architectures; power and energy; sustainable computing; domain-specific architectures and accelerators for machine learning, bioinformatics and other emerging applications; architectural support for programming languages or software development; architectural support for interfacing with accelerators; architectural support for security, virtual memory, and virtualization; dependable processor and system architecture; architectures for emerging technologies including novel circuits and memory technologies; quantum computer architecture; neuromorphic computing architecture; approximate computing; architecture modeling, simulation methodologies, and tools; evaluation and measurement of real computing systems.
