Call For Papers
The aim of this international journal is to analyse and publicise the progress and current state of knowledge in the field of organic coatings and related materials. The Editors and the Editorial Board members will solicit both review and research papers from academic and industrial scientists who are actively engaged in research and development or, in the case of review papers, have extensive experience in the subject to be reviewed. Unsolicited manuscripts will be accepted if they meet the journal's requirements. The journal publishes papers dealing with such subjects as: • Chemical, physical and technological properties of organic coatings and related materials • Problems and methods of preparation, manufacture and application of these materials • Performance, testing and analysis.

Following the tradition of the previous editions, a Special Issue of papers devoted to the lectures discussed during the conference will be accommodated by Elsevier’s Progress in Organic Coatings. The AETOC workshop deals with all topics related to recent developments in the application of electrochemical techniques to the study and monitoring of organic coatings, as well as novel hybrid sol-gel and composite coatings with self-healing and protective properties. This may also include new emerging directions of coating studies such as computational methods and machine learning approaches towards further understanding and developing corrosion inhibitor systems and active protective coatings. Upon its editorial acceptance, your article will go into production immediately. It will be published in the latest regular issue, while be presented on the specific Special Issue webpage simultaneously.
